Jujube and Oatmeal Porridge
Summary:
Jujube and oatmeal porridge is a soothing, nourishing plant-based porridge that promotes relaxation and restful sleep.
Ingredients:
Instant oatmeal 60g
Red dates 6 (pitted and sliced)
Sour jujube kernels 10g
Goji berries appropriate amount
Rock sugar to taste
Water 600ml
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Ingredients:
Pit and slice the red dates. Rinse the sour jujube kernels and goji berries lightly.
2. Cook the Base:
Add water to a pot along with the red dates and sour jujube kernels. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes.
3. Add the Oats:
Stir in the oatmeal and cook over low heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
4. Add Goji and Sweeten:
Add goji berries and rock sugar. Simmer for another 2–3 minutes until the sugar dissolves.
5. Serve and Enjoy:
The porridge is sweet, smooth, and calming. Enjoy warm for best effect.
