Stir-Fried Shredded Lettuce Stem

Summary:

Stir-fried shredded lettuce stem is a light and crisp vegetarian dish that is easy to make and packed with nutrients.

Ingredients:

Lettuce stem 300g (peeled and shredded)

Carrot half (shredded)

Ginger 3 slices

Salt to taste

Soy sauce 1 tablespoon

White pepper powder a pinch

Vegetable oil appropriate amount

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Ingredients:

Peel the lettuce stem and cut it into thin strips. Shred the carrot and slice the ginger.

2. Sauté the Aromatics:

Heat a pan with vegetable oil, add the ginger slices, and stir-fry until fragrant.

3. Stir-Fry the Lettuce Stem:

Add the shredded lettuce stem and carrot, stir-fry over high heat for about two minutes.

4. Season to Taste:

Add salt, soy sauce, and white pepper powder, and stir well to blend the flavors.

5. Serve and Enjoy:

Once the lettuce stem softens slightly but remains crisp, turn off the heat and serve.
