Stir-Fried Shiitake Mushrooms with Dried Tofu Sticks

Summary:

Stir-fried shiitake mushrooms with dried tofu sticks is a flavorful vegetarian dish that combines the rich aroma of mushrooms with the chewy texture of tofu sticks.

Ingredients:

Shiitake mushrooms 150g (sliced)

Dried tofu sticks 100g (soaked and cut into sections)

Carrot half (shredded)

Green bell pepper half (sliced)

Ginger 3 slices

Soy sauce 1 tablespoon

Vegetarian oyster sauce 1 tablespoon

Salt to taste

White pepper powder a pinch

Vegetable oil appropriate amount

Water 50ml

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Ingredients:

Soak the dried tofu sticks until softened, then cut them into sections. Slice the shiitake mushrooms, shred the carrot, slice the bell pepper, and prepare the ginger.

2. Sauté the Aromatics:

Heat a pan with vegetable oil, add ginger slices, and stir-fry until fragrant. Then, add the shiitake mushrooms and stir-fry until aromatic.

3. Add the Tofu Sticks:

Add the soaked tofu sticks and stir well to absorb the mushroom flavor.

4. Stir-Fry the Vegetables:

Add the shredded carrot and sliced bell pepper, and continue to stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until the colors are vibrant.

5. Season the Dish:

Add soy sauce, vegetarian oyster sauce, salt, and white pepper powder. Stir evenly, then pour in water and simmer for one minute to enhance the flavor.

6. Serve and Enjoy:

Once the sauce is absorbed, turn off the heat and serve hot. Enjoy!
