Stir-Fried Termite Mushrooms

Summary:

Stir-fried termite mushrooms is a light and aromatic vegetarian dish that highlights the natural umami and tender texture of wild mushrooms.

Ingredients:

Termite mushrooms 200g (cleaned and cut into sections)

Green bell pepper half (shredded, optional)

Carrot half (shredded, optional)

Ginger 3 slices (shredded)

Salt to taste

Soy sauce 1 tablespoon

White pepper powder a pinch

Vegetable oil appropriate amount

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Ingredients:

Clean and cut the termite mushrooms into sections. Shred the green bell pepper, carrot, and ginger.

2. Sauté the Ginger:

Heat vegetable oil in a pan and stir-fry the shredded ginger over low heat until fragrant.

3. Stir-Fry the Mushrooms:

Add the termite mushrooms and stir-fry over medium heat for 2–3 minutes until tender and aromatic.

4. Add the Vegetables:

Add the bell pepper and carrot. Stir-fry quickly to combine.

5. Season the Dish:

Add soy sauce, salt, and white pepper powder. Stir well until evenly seasoned.

6. Serve and Enjoy:

Once the mushrooms are cooked through and still tender, turn off the heat and serve hot.
