Flavorful Mixed Vegetable Stir-Fry
Summary:

Ingredients:
King oyster mushrooms 100g (sliced)
Firm tofu (dried tofu strips) 100g (cut into strips)
Carrot 50g (julienned)
Broccoli 100g (cut into small florets)
Red bell pepper 50g (sliced, optional)
Ginger powder 1/2 teaspoon (optional)
Salt 1/2 teaspoon
Light soy sauce 1 tablespoon
Vegetarian oyster sauce 1 tablespoon (optional)
White pepper powder to taste (optional)
Five-spice powder 1/2 teaspoon (optional)
Vegetable oil 1.5 tablespoons
Water 2 tablespoons
Instructions:
1. Prepare Ingredients:
Slice the king oyster mushrooms, cut the tofu into strips, julienne the carrot, separate the broccoli into small florets, and slice the red bell pepper.
2. Blanch the Broccoli (Optional):
Bring a pot of water to a boil, add a pinch of salt, and blanch the broccoli for 20 seconds. Drain and rinse with cold water to retain its green color and crisp texture.
3. Heat the Pan:
Add vegetable oil to a pan over medium heat. Stir in ginger powder (optional) and sauté briefly for aroma.
4. Stir-Fry Tofu and Mushrooms:
Add the tofu strips and king oyster mushrooms, stir-frying for 2 minutes until slightly golden.
5. Add the Other Vegetables:
Toss in the carrot, broccoli, and red bell pepper, and stir-fry for another minute to evenly heat all ingredients.
6. Season the Dish:
Add salt, light soy sauce, vegetarian oyster sauce (optional), five-spice powder (optional), and white pepper powder (optional). Pour in 2 tablespoons of water and let it simmer on low heat for 1 minute to blend the flavors.
7. Serve and Enjoy:
Transfer to a serving plate and enjoy immediately. The dish is colorful, full of textures, and bursting with flavors.
