Cultivating Non-Attachment to All Objects

Non-attachment is not avoidance, but freedom within experience—without grasping or fixation.

1. Awareness as Prerequisite

Unseen attachment binds.
Seen attachment loosens.
Awareness begins the process.

2. Equality of Objects

Thoughts, feelings, states are equal.
Nothing is privileged.
Attachment loses ground.

3. Process Over Outcome

Do not aim at results.
Goal-seeking is grasping.
Stay with process.

4. Present Moment as Anchor

No chasing the future.
No clinging to the past.
Attachment fades.

5. Letting Go Without Force

Seeing clearly is release.
No extra effort needed.
Force creates clinging.

6. Softness as Attitude

Resistance is attachment.
Softness allows release.
The mind stays flexible.

7. Continuity of Awareness

Attachment may reappear.
Recognizing it is practice.
Continuity matures freedom.

8. Non-Abiding as Completion

The mind clings nowhere.
Phenomena come and go.
Freedom is present.

Summary

Non-attachment does not remove objects, but releases bondage to them. With awareness, letting go happens naturally.
