Stir-Fried Asparagus

Summary:

This is a simple and refreshing vegan stir-fry dish, where asparagus is lightly seasoned to preserve its natural sweetness and crisp texture, making it a perfect healthy side dish.

Ingredients:

Asparagus 250g (trimmed and cut diagonally)

Red bell pepper 50g (sliced, optional)

Ginger powder 1/2 teaspoon (optional)

Salt 1/2 teaspoon

Light soy sauce 1 teaspoon (optional)

White pepper powder to taste (optional)

Vegetable oil 1 tablespoon

Water 2 tablespoons

Instructions:

1. Prepare Ingredients:
Trim the tough ends of the asparagus, wash, and cut into diagonal sections. Slice the red bell pepper if using.

2. Blanching (Optional):
Bring water to a boil, blanch the asparagus for 10 seconds, then remove and rinse under cold water to retain its green color and crispness.

3. Heat the Pan:
Heat vegetable oil in a pan, add ginger powder (optional), and stir briefly to release its aroma.

4. Quick Stir-Fry:
Add the asparagus and stir-fry for about 30 seconds, then add the red bell pepper slices and stir-fry for another 10 seconds.

5. Season and Finish:
Add salt, optional light soy sauce, and white pepper powder, then pour in a little water. Stir-fry quickly to combine, then turn off the heat.

6. Serve and Enjoy:
Transfer to a serving plate and enjoy immediately. The dish is light, crisp, and naturally flavorful.
